Dental Filling Using Composite

Composite fillings are tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore decayed teeth. Composites come in many colors and are also used for cosmetic improvements of the smile by changing the color of the teeth or reshaping disfigured teeth.  We believe these types of fillings are a best way to restore decayed teeth because they are bonded in place and are long lasting.  This is why we only place composite filling and do not use amalgam (silver) filling in our practice.  We most often will replace old amalgam fillings that are discolored and stained with composite and the results are fantastic.
